Pio på ferie hos Monkey World, for første gang!

Pio er en meget speciel papegøje, og mor har altid troede at det var en han. “Han” blev DNA testede og det viste sig at Pio altså var en pige!

Hun var vild med vores mændlige del af teamet, tøserne fik lov til at håndfodre hende. Pio er en stille fugl der ikke siger så meget, men elsker at være ude og lege. Hun var MEGET glad for sit bur som mor tog med, men vi synes det var lidt småt. Derfor fik hun lov til at være ude dagligt, så hun kunne komme ud og flyve i vores ferierum.

Kost

Pio er en kræsen fugl, hun er ikke så glad for frugt/grønt.

Vi prøvede at give hende vores pellets, og dem var hun helt vild med! Alle former for frø/nødder bruger vi som snack/belønning, dem var hun bestemt heller ikke utilfreds med. Mandler var en favorit, husk dog på at nødder er kalorietælle og det kan være fedmenede for fugle der ikke få så meget aktivering.

Vi kommer til at savne Pio og vi glæder os til at se hende igen.
